blog time

The paper we have due this week, to me, has been the most difficult yet. My reason is because my group really only has one location, so I haven't been able to write about much more. I decided to go into more detail and with my next visit to the lodge, this friday, I will be taking pictures. This way there will be visuals while reading my paper, and it will help make it more interesting! I'm so ready to wrap this project up and put it all together, but I'm also nervous at the same time! I feel as though all my fieldworking experiences will come together not only to meet the criteria of this paper but also to help everyone understand my subculture I've chosen as well. This is a very interesting and helping group. They have been extremely cooperative in helping me with any and all questions and information I have asked. As of right now, I really have no other updates until after friday which will be the next time I meet with my group.

  1. I have to agree with you! This paper has been a challenge for me too. I am not the best at being detailed with things and I think that it is important to be with this paper. I am ready to be finished with this paper too. This is my last English class and I am happy about that. I know that I am going to still have to write papers in other classes but happy to be done with English classes. I think pictures are a good thing! Hope Friday went well. I look forward to seeing pictures. I am a visual person so those help me out. :)

  2. Hey Kayla, don't feel alone! I was stuck on this too and haven't even posted anything yet. I explain to Mr. Nadziejko that I was so overwhelmed I had writer's block!! LOL! So now I'm just starting my paper for the final. I have seven pages of geneology and description of the farm house from log cabin to present. I am getting ready to tell about the ghosts! Kira is jonesing on this part!! LOL!! But it will all work out. This paper is turning out to be my "baby", but I have to write it when my brain is working!!!!!
